Community Event, ROUGH POINT MUSEUM
Plan a Visit / Calendar of Events / Tree Talk: Celebrating the Olmsted Beech Tree

Join us for a free community celebration of an Olmsted-legacy Beech tree in the garden of Rough Point on Saturday, March 15th at 2:00PM. Our friends at the Newport Tree Conservancy and our Landscape staff will share the history of this tree, why Beech trees like this one are vulnerable to disease and climate change regionally, and what our plans are for the future.

While this event is free for all, we ask that you please register here in advance.
