A Dog’s Day Out with the Elephants

August 31 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 PM

Community Event, ROUGH POINT MUSEUM
Plan a Visit / Calendar of Events / A Dog’s Day Out with the Elephants

It’s the dog days of summer! Join us and our community partner The Potter League for Animals for a dog’s day out with the Great Elephant Migration at “Ruff” Point. Bring along your dog to visit the elephants at Rough Point before the herd continues their migration. We will have a photo booth for your puppy to pose with their favorite pachyderm.

NRF founder Doris Duke was a supporter of animal well-being and she lived with dogs, cats, and camels(!) in her homes. Many of her pets were adopted from the Potter League for Animals.

Suggested donation, $5. All proceeds will go to the Newport Restoration Foundation and the Potter League for Animals to support our missions. We kindly ask that you register here, in advance.

Please note: We welcome all doggos, floofs, and furry friends who are leashed and are picked up after on the grounds of Rough Point.
Service dogs are welcome inside the museum, but please no pets.

Thank you to our pawtastic sponsors!
