Gems from the East and West: The Doris Duke Jewelry Collection highlighted the extensive jewelry collection amassed by Doris Duke throughout her lifetime. The pieces offer a rare glimpse into the personal aesthetic of Doris Duke. This exhibit was the first in the exhibition galleries at Rough Point and the jewelry collection was sold at auction in 2004 to benefit the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
